Last weekend, attending Festival Kemilau Seni Budaya Benua Etam Kalimantan Timur 2010 (Kalimantan Timur Art & Cultural Festival). This is the annual event of Kalimantan Timur government.

One of the agenda of this festival was traditional dance competition. Delegation from the whole 14 regencies/cities in Kalimantan Timur participated in this event. The category was divided into two general type of dance; inland dance and coastal dance.

Here I proudly present the brand new crunchy band from my hometown named Rifka and D'Crackers.
It's actually a duo consists Rifka (vocal & guitar) and Tried (drum & backing vocal). The band will release their single "Learn" on February 15th, 2010. You can listen the single up right here and check out the music video over here.

It's a good old mosque named Jami' Hasanuddin in Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara. Love the originally vintage architecture.

The interior is simply warm with many pillars. It's quite a great heritage from the ancestors.

I've just finished reading metropop novel called A.M.S.A.T (Apa Maksud Setuang Air Teh) by Syahmedi Dean.
A.M.S.A.T adalah novel keempatnya setelah P.G.D.P.C (Pengantin Gypsy dan Penipu Cinta), J.P.V.F.K (Jakarta Paris Via French Kiss), dan L.S.D.L.F (Lontong Sayur Dalam Lembaran Fashion). Novel2 ini layaknya sebuah serial bersambung dari yg satu dgn yg lainnya. Dan A.M.S.A.T tampaknya menjadi novel terakhir dari serial ini.

Here is the latest album from Dewi Sandra called Wanita (Woman). It's been her 5th album of her career so far.

Gw ingat banget dulu jaman SMA sempet punya album kaset kompilasi model2 baru dan kondang Indonesia masa itu yang tergabung dalam Model Indonesia, dengan singelnya Menari-nari. Alasan gw beli album itu pastinya karena tampang2 cantik dan menggoda dari model2 itu. Dan salah satu model yg bergabung didalamnya adalah Dewi Sandra.
Selain nyanyi keroyokan di single Menari-nari, dia juga nyanyi di salah satu single berjudul Biarkan Cinta. Kalo gw bilang sih waktu itu suaranya masih pas2an banget!
Tapi kyknya dugaan itu saat ini mesti gw koreksi deh. Perkembangan karirnya smp skrg sih cukup bagus dan konsisten. Buktinya sejauh ini cukup produktif dan baru aja merilis album ke-5. Masalah teknik vokal yg sempet gw sangsikan tampaknya perlahan-lahan tidak terbukti. Karena seiring dgn kedewasaannya, I must admit that she does learn how to sing! I'm not a big fan of her but I appreciate every step of her way.

It's been my first time having her CD. The reason why i bought is just because her duet with male singer, Alam Urbach 'Sabila' on track no.8 called "Satu Untuk Selamanya". Dunno why, i just love this single. It sounds very simple, melodic, slow down yet touchful. Tapi setelah mendengar the whole album, ternyata lagu2nya cukup asyik dan variatif dgn sentuhan pop yang kental dan sedikit soul and funk.
Over all, it's worth to buy and i must say she's done very well as the singer and producer for this album.

About 2 weeks ago me and my friends went to the small cultural village outside the city. We saw the once in a week traditional dance performance by the genuine Dayaknese dancers. The show was so beautiful including the unique and colorful costume they wore. The local and some foreign tourists seemed enjoy the show pretty much.

The venue is a big traditional house called Lamin.

I was on holiday in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Bandung. Seneng banget rasanya punya kesempatan buat jalan-jalan, ketemu teman lama, teman-teman baru, melihat tempat-tempat baru, dan merasakan pengalaman-pengalaman baru. It was an exciting moment!!!

Yatta!!! It's been my very first loafers!

After all this time, akhirnya nemu juga sepatu idaman karena secara size ngga pernah ada yg fit di kaki saya. Belinya di expo kemarin yg saya kunjungi dan ditemukan secara ngga sengaja di salah satu booth dari Provinsi Jawa Timur yaitu Sidoarjo. Yes, it's a local product, but the quality is fine. Made from neat's leather with quite smooth finishing.

Well, i must say that i do love the shoes, love Indonesian products, and definitely love being Indonesian :)

I looove this kinda pink plaid short sleeve shirt! Belinya di sebuah toko kecil yg dari luar tampak males buat dikunjungi. If you wanna know where i bought, email me! :) Jam tangan yg saya pakai adalah Swatch, hadiah dari seorang teman yg sempet jln2 ke Belanda (setelah dikonfirm, ternyata dia belinya di Paris) Celana dari distro biasa dan sepatu dari Pedro. Untuk melengkapi tampilan biar lebih maksimal, saya pake fedora juga. Tapi maaf ya, i chopped my head biar tetep misterius, hehehehe...

Btw, i was wearing this outfit buat acara casual dinner sama beberapa orang teman.

It is my very first body fit tailor made blazer. I'm lovin it! Tempo hari saya pake buat syuting. That's why di tangan saya ada setumpuk news script yg mesti dibacakan. Kalo dasinya didapat secara gratis dari someone special :) and it's one of my fave tie. Untuk long sleeve shirt yg aslinya berwarna blewah itu saya dapat dgn harga hanya sekitar Rp 30.000 dgn diskon 80% + 20% dari harga awalnya!

A friend of mine told me to compose my blog into Bahasa Indonesia. Then I consider it would be a great advice. So, here it is....

Dua hari yg lalu, pagi2 emang lumayan dingin. That's why I put that zipped vest on my body yg sebenarnya jarang bgt dipake. The shirt is a vintage one I bought from a small shop. And you know what? sepatu itu umurnya udah hampir 7 tahun!!! Belinya di salah satu FO di Bandung dan kondisinya sampe sekarang lumayan masih layak tampil :)
